Clarity by Clear iQ
Your data, explained.
What moved, why it moved, and how you compare with your industry. Ask a question in plain English, and Clarity reads the same numbers your Power BI reports show, finds what drove the change and draws the chart that shows it. One story, not another report to dig through.

Why did we miss our profit target?
Clarity
Profit came in $400K under plan.
- Why
- Our largest customer switched to our cheapest product line in April.
- How you compare
- That line earns a 12% margin, against 22% for the rest of the business.
- Recommended action
- Reprice the cheapest line before the customer’s next renewal to recover part of the $0.7M.

Watch Clarity answer a real question.
One question to our demo business, answered start to finish: what moved, why it moved, and how it compares.
“Is our gross margin holding up against last year? If not, what’s pulling it down?”
What the video shows
- The question: “Is our gross margin holding up against last year? If not, what’s pulling it down?”
- What moved: not fully. Gross margin is down about one point year to date, almost all of it in July, when it fell to 48.8% from 57.0% a year earlier.
- Why it moved: materials, not labor. Materials made up about 94% of July’s rise in cost of sales, posted mostly through journal entries and vendor bills. A smaller June dip came from lower termite revenue.
- How it compares: a market-context chart puts July below the published gross-margin range for the pest-control industry, with each source cited.
- Where to look next: every chart names the Power BI data it came from, the answer links to the matching report page, and Clarity suggests follow-up questions.

Clarity: private by design
Clarity runs entirely inside your own Azure.
Clarity is deployed in your own Azure subscription, and Clear iQ implements it there. Your data is never copied to Clear iQ, never shared with other clients, and never used to train AI models. Your Power BI data is processed only on Azure, in the United States.

What Clarity does.
- The story behind your data
- Ask why something moved, like “Why is gross margin down?” Clarity runs its own follow-up queries to find what drove it (which branch, month, service or cost line) and draws the chart that shows it.
- How you compare with your industry
- Your results next to industry benchmarks and improvement ideas from cited public sources, where published figures exist. A Market Research tab answers open questions about your industry and competitors.
- What to do next
- Turn on recommended actions and each answer ends with a few actions you could take, written for your role and each tied to a figure in the answer.
- Built on what you already have
- Nothing to rebuild. Clarity works from your existing Power BI model, and one click takes you to the matching report.
- Runs in your own Azure
- Deployed in your own Azure subscription. Your data is processed on Azure in the US and never trains AI models. Users sign in with their Microsoft account.
- Your data, made AI-ready
- Clear iQ prepares your data for AI first, so Clarity answers in your terms and matches the numbers you already report.
- Answers you can check
- Every Power BI query an answer runs is recorded, so figures trace back to the rows read. When the data can’t answer something, Clarity says so instead of guessing.
- Ask about any data point
- Click a point on any chart and Clarity writes a follow-up question about it, so the next question is always a good one.
- Respects your security
- Answers follow the row-level security in your Power BI model, so each person sees only the data they’re allowed to see, and links open the report with the same scope.
Also in Clarity
- Shareable reports: describe a report in a sentence, Clarity writes each section, and you export it to PDF.
- A guided question builder for people who don’t know what to ask.
- Cost-optimized AI: leading models inside your Azure subscription, each step using the model it needs, with usage and cost visible in the admin console.

Leading AI, cost‑optimized, all inside Azure.
Clarity uses leading AI models through your own Azure subscription. Each step uses the model it needs, not the most expensive one, so answers stay strong and AI costs stay in check.
Better models over time, without a rebuild.
- Right-sized for each stepReading the question, planning the queries and writing the answer each use the model suited to the job, so you don’t pay top-model prices for simple steps.
- Reads only what it needsEach question reads only the metrics and rows it needs from Power BI, which keeps every answer lean.
- Upgrades without a rebuildWhen a better model arrives, Clarity moves to it, so the product improves over time.
- Cost you can seeAI usage and cost are visible in Clarity’s admin console, and it all runs in your own Azure subscription.
